A steel cable can be threaded twice through these aluminum Talurit clamps, making it easy to create a loop or similar connection on a steel cable. The clamp is secured by pressing it with a press or a special crimping tool. Aluminum is a soft metal. During the crimping process, the aluminum forms around the cable, preventing it from being pulled apart. When using a crimping tool, the clamp must be secured at the front. These end sleeves have a general application and are mainly used to finish steel cables with a loop. This loop can be reinforced with a thimble or chafe sleeve. They can also be used to extend a cable. Aluminum wire rope clamps are manufactured in accordance with EN 13411-3 for extra safety during production and use. The clamps have a seamless construction and fit standard industry dies.
