By setting the special knob to the locking position, it can also be used as a positioning device or as a standard locking device. Thanks to its special construction, BACK-UP also handles the highest loads in a semi-dynamic way, avoiding the shock effects on ropes caused by traditional self-locking systems with toothed cams.
