A lightweight, compact auto-braking descender for rope access and rescue, designed for semi-static ropes of 10–11 mm.

Designed for experienced users; the lever has no anti-panic function. The body and lever are made of a robust, hot-forged aluminum alloy. The mechanical parts are made of precision-cast stainless steel. The internal mechanism and the cam use an innovative design for smooth rope handling, preventing rapid wear and absorbing energy from small shocks with minimal rope slippage. Thanks to its smooth action on the rope, the Druid also performs well for rope ascents. The cam can be deactivated with a trigger to let the rope slide quickly in no-load or limited-load situations. Steel ring for attaching a keeper cord.
